The Seed is planted
The story of Mini Saber began with a group of boys aged 8 to 11 who gathered at a house where a dad owned a 3D printer. These young science fiction fans wanted to create something special using the printer. Together with the dad’s guidance, they designed a mini saber. The boys learned how to clean up 3D printed parts and assemble them into a functional piece. This saber was designed, tested, created, and enjoyed right here in the USA.
The story Continues
Some time later, the father adapted the design to create a metal version in his machine shop, dagry.com. Initially, he produced it as a novelty item to showcase his shop’s capabilities to customers. Encouraged by the enthusiastic response from those who received one, he decided to launch it commercially.
